BookIT, a Finnish company providing innovative mobile customer engagement and transaction services have made an investment to Smart Mile Solutions, a Dutch venture developing a shared and sustainable City Delivery Platform. Both parties have announced to enter into a strategic partnership.
BookIT provided its mobile engagement services to clients like Finnair, Posti Group and PostNord and is looking to expand its customer base across Europe and the USA. Investment to Smart Mile Solution is one step in BookIT’s expansion plan. BookIT have also opened sales offices in several countries in Europe and in USA.
Through this partnership Smart Mile Solutions will deploy BookIT’s services as part of its platform, to effectively communicate with consumers who are shopping online and receiving their purchases. Smart Mile Solutions will have access to the more than 100 patents of BookIT and will cooperate with BookIT to further develop innovative mobile consumer interaction and payments services to be part of the Smart Mile platform.
Smart Mile Solutions is currently launching its innovative City Delivery Platform in the city of Nagold, Germany through its subsidiary Citydibs Deutschland GmbH and will expand into other cities in Germany and Europe.
